Award winning print!
December 8, 2011 by Greg Hassold

It was exciting to win a Silver and Bronze award at the recent South Australian Print Industry Craftsmanship Awards (PICA) held at the beginning of November.

Both of these awards were for books entered into the “Limited Editions” category. Openbook Howden has always specialised in printing historical books and this achievement recognised our endeavours to put quality first.

Bronze award: Berri History (Berri Barmera Council)

Silver award: Westminster: A Venture in Faith (Westminster School)

What’s also interesting to note is that both books were authored by Rob Linn, a renown South Australian historian, and designed by Jane McLean, a freelance graphic artist with an amazing talent for bringing words on a page to life.

Customers expectations often demand an all inclusive service and we endeavour to develop relationships with various experienced service providers to help our clients achieve more than what may be possible on our own.

From enlisting the services of photographers, to historians and editors we can do more than put ink on paper to make your project a success!
