Taking the time to reflect on the achievements and events of the last calendar year is heartening. Our annual dinner this year was hosted in the Mortlock Chamber of the South Australian State Library. The ambience was perfect in the stately room with pre-dinner drinks held on the first floor balcony amongst the gorgeous old books, looking down upon the grand dining table which ran the full length of the hall. For book lovers, it was the perfect location.
Staff and partners were treated to divine food as we reviewed this year’s projects and activities including the installation of a new press which we will officially announce in the new year.
We are incredibly proud of the growth and personal development of our team over the last year in particular, with many team members graduating from various training programs or immersing themselves in projects and committees which contribute to a united and efficient workplace.
Our Cultural Award acknowledges the person who is recognised by their peers as upholding the brand values of the company. This year Andrew Stevens in the estimating and planning department received this award with great cheer and support from those in attendance. Equal runner-up places went to Leanne Rowley in client support and Wendy Adams in the print finishing department. The comments from peers on the voting slips continue to be encouraging and supportive of all nominees.
Grant Josephs also in planning and estimating received the Innovation Award for his contribution to our revised quote and job ordering system. The changes Grant helped us to make this year has streamlined the process for the sales department which in turn is providing clear and improved details for the estimating and planning team.
Also acknowledged on the evening were six team members who have achieved significant years of service milestones.

Paul Muster; Accounts – 20 years
