A lifelong dream of Kaye Freeman and her aunt, the late Myra Freeman, of Calca, South Australia, was to compile a history book containing information about the Freeman, Kelsh, and McGuinness families. The book begins with the families’ migration from Ireland and England to start a new life in Australia. The history contained is a continuation of the Calca History book compiled in 1991. Throughout the book, you will read about the tough times the families faced over the years, as well as the many good times they experienced.

As you can appreciate, stories can differ from one generation to the next, however, Kaye believes she has captured most of them as correctly as possible. She hopes you enjoy looking at the incredible photos, imagining the life and times of her ancestors, and having a few laughs along the way.
