When Australian Army dentists first enlisted in WW1 gained they were nicknamed Fang Farriers. Volume 3 of the set, covers the Royal Australian Army Dental Corps occupation of Japan, Korea, Malay/Borneo, Vietnam and the Peace Keeping Operations from the end of WW2 until the present day.
Volume 1 covers the origins of the Australian Dental Service in 1914 as part of the Australian Army Medical Corp, serving in Egypt, Middle East, France and England and at home up to the beginning of WW2.
Volume 2 covers the WW2 history, development and service in the Middle East, Malaya, New Guinea and Home Service and its succession in 1943 from the Medical Corps.
The three volume set now records the history of the RAADC in its first 100 years.
