This is the life of a country boy growing up in the 1950’s on the land who dreamed of becoming a modern bush poet. Born with the ability to write humorous verse he waited until his family had left home and he was financially stable to give up serious farming and begin publishing books of his verse. Firstly travelling the country selling books before he became part of the resurgence of modern bush poetry at the Tamworth Country Music Festival and becoming an entertainer Australia-wide with his verse.
