PIMATA is a compilation of thirty-two beautiful and graceful poems written during the time of one mother’s greatest anguish – the sad passing of her precious adult child. Whilst attempting to cope with the terrible loss of her first-born son in June 2022, Adelaide-born writer Doris Falidis Nickolas, found a sense of peace and healing as she expressed her feeling through words. Each poem is accompanied by stunning artwork, the author’s own photography, places that are sentimental to her and where she finds solace. By means of each poem, Doris hopes to bring warmth and love to those who are living with grief, just as she is.
