DARING TO BE DIFFERENT!
St Peter’s Woodlands Grammar School (SPW) in Glenelg is leading the way in creating student resources that inspire and engage. Rather than a one-size-fits-all approach, SPW introduced three bespoke diaries tailored to the needs of each sub-school.
• Year 6 Graduating Diary – DARE
• Years 3–5
• Reception – Year 2
THE CHALLENGE – SPW wanted diaries that were more than just planners, they needed tools that supported learning, wellbeing, and personal growth, while reflecting the unique journey of each age group.
THE SOLUTION – OBH partnered with SPW, collaborating to create custom-designed templates for each diary. This ensured that functionality and creativity worked hand-in-hand with the tailored content supplied by SPW.
DARE Diary (Year 6) – This bespoke diary incorporates the Year 6 Graduation Program – ‘DARE’ and celebrates the final year of a students’ primary school journey. Each diary features a personalised cover with the student’s name, and the DARE theme is woven throughout every page. This makes it both a practical study companion and a treasured keepsake.
Years 3–5 Diary – Designed for middle primary students, this diary combines a planner format with an engaging wellbeing theme. Included is school information while goal setting features create an interactive and visually appealing resource that supports both organisation and personal development.
Reception–Year 2 Diary – Created to help younger students navigate school life. It also includes school information for parents, reading progress, and feelings prompts. Sprinkled across the terms is engaging line-art and wellbeing activities which encourage interaction and creativity.
THE RESULT – SPW now has a suite of diaries that are age-appropriate, interactive, and deeply personalised. The feedback from users? Extremely positive, students, parents and staff love the functionality, creativity, and sense of ownership these diaries bring.
