Prepress Operator
We are currently seeking a talented and driven Prepress Operator to join our dynamic pre-production team. This full-time role is ideal for an experienced professional with a solid background in preparing artwork for print across a variety of formats and presses, particularly within fast-paced production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preflight and prepare artwork files for both digital and offset print production
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure accurate, timely job delivery
- Manage files efficiently, maintaining version control and backup systems
- Adhere to established quality assurance procedures and production standards
Essential Skills & Attributes:
- Proven experience in both offset and digital print processes
- Proficient with Mac and/or PC platforms
- Advanced skills in Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Excellent communication and a proactive, solution-focused approach
- Strong time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to quality
- A team player who works well in a collaborative environment
Desirable (but not essential):
- Familiarity with Esko software (DeskPack, Automation Engine, etc.)
- Experience in label production or packaging print workflows
