At OBH, we are committed to environmentally conscious practices, promoting the sustainability of our planet’s natural resources.

As a business, we look at sustainability from two perspectives:

How can OBH contribute to sustainability, and how can OBH help you contribute to sustainability?

How are OBH working towards sustainability?

We have an internal Sustainability Team that meets quarterly to explore our ongoing impact on the environment. We’ve made it our purpose to constantly find ways to improve.

Recycle all paper, cardboard, plastic and glass waste.
Recycle all ink cartridges and tins.
Recycle all printing plates.
Use vegetable and soy-based inks.
Reuse pallets and packaging.
Have over 400 solar panels installed on our roof to support our power usage.
Have a Power Correction Factor unit to reduce energy consumption.
Have installed eco-friendly lighting.
Are able to indent stocks and store large quantities at our facilities. This means we can order more in one go and reduce our global footprint necessitated by ordering on demand.
Offer digital printing methods.
Have invested cutting-edge in machinery that reduces our footprint vs traditional methods
Our environmental management system is based on the international standard AS/NZS ISO 14001:2004 Environmental management systems.

How can OBH help you work towards sustainability?

The best way we can support you with your sustainability requirements is by talking to you in person. However, you may wish to consider:

Printing digital – Consider using our digital options, which produce less waste and use fewer resources.

Print quantities – Consider your print quantities carefully to eliminate wastage. With our Print Management service, we can help you achieve better print run estimates.

Stock choices – We can help you select stocks that meet your sustainability requirements, whether that’s recyclable or recycled. Please note: recycled stock doesn’t always mean it’s better for the environment.

Finishing choices —You may wish to consider how you’re finishing your product so that it can be recycled. We can provide guidance on how to dismantle your product for recycling.

Reused cartons – If you’re happy to use repurposed storage cartons, we can deliver your products in reused packaging.
